| Schwarz Contemporary, Berlin, 2014 | ||||||||
| A glass wall is placed in such a way that it blocks the entry to the next room. Only a small gap is left open through which viewers can take a look at the artwork behind the glass wall. The glass has been cut by hand and the edges of the single sheets are intentionally rough. Sheet after sheet has been glued together thus a massive wall has been created. The wall seems to slide towards the remaining gap of the opening. As all edges of the glass are sharp and not polished, the glass appears at the same time dangerous and beautiful. Viewers are attracted by it, but will make sure not to step too close, or even touch it. They have an altered view of the space behind the glass wall. | ||||||||
