Floor, declining, Weisser Elefant, Berlin, 2009

A smooth transition from white to black has been spray-painted onto
the hallway’s floor, thus simulating depth. The end of the hallway
is “illuminated” by a black lamp. This lamp has been sprayed with
heat-resistant matte black paint, consequently one cannot see its
light even though it is turned on.
