| In a rainbow the arc shows red on the outer part and violet on the inner side. The rainbow is caused by light being refracted when entering a droplet of water, then reflected inside on the back of the droplet and refracted again when leaving it. My rainbow has been sprinkled onto the paper by using a sieve and a brush. It has been deprived of its colorfulness, its main characteristic. The seven colors have been transformed into different shades of gray | ||||||||
